BUYER REPRESENTATION
JOAN AND PAUL ARE CERTIFIED BUYER REPRESENTATIVES

As professionally accredited Certified Buyer Representatives, Joan and Paul provide buyer representation. The Certified Buyer Representative designation (CBR) is awarded to real estate professionals who participate in the buyer representation concept. Less than 8,000 Realtors nationally have earned this highly specialized designation.
WHAT IS BUYER REPRESENTATION
Brokers and salespeople typically represent the seller, not the buyer for most real estate transactions in Southampton, on Long Island, and in New York City. This is contrary to most other regions of the United States, including upstate New York where Buyer Representation is the norm. Buyer representation is the practice of the real estate professional representing the buyer, not the seller, as a client in the real estate transaction.
WHY WORK WITH A BUYER REPRESENTATIVE?
Why should you seek a buyer’s broker when you purchase your next house? When you select an attorney, would you consider the seller’s attorney to represent your interests? The same should be true when you select a real estate broker to show you your dream home.
When Joan and Paul work as Certified Buyer’s Representatives for you in the purchase of your new home, they are duty bound to work solely in your best interests and negotiate your best deal under your best terms.
