GOLF COURSES

Although there are no golf courses within Southampton Village, there are 29 golf courses within 15 miles of the Village, ten of them open to the public.  One of the private courses, located just outside the Village, is the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club -- the site of the 1896, 1986, 1995, and 2004 US Opens.   For a web link showing listing the course by proximity to the Village, along with reviews and tournaments,

PARKS

The Village of Southampton maintains numerous parks within the Village.  Two are within the downtown area -- both accessible from Jobs Lane.

Agawam Park at Monument Square contains a playground, bathroom facilities, and is adjacent to a 60-acre fresh water lake.  It is home to the World War I Memorial.

The Parrish Arboretum and its gardens, the busts of the Ceasars, and its fountains are located adjacent to the Parrish Art Museum at 25 Jobs Lane.
